Planned equipment care

Maintenance and Support

BELTRAXON supports maintenance planning, parts identification and technical coordination according to the machine, location and agreed service scope. Manufacturer instructions, local law and qualified technicians always take priority over general website guidance.

Maintenance approach

A sound maintenance programme combines preventive maintenance, scheduled inspections and the manufacturer’s service intervals with records of actual use and condition. Scope may include fluid and filter management, lubrication, wear-part review, hydraulic checks, electrical and diagnostic checks, safety-system inspection and complete maintenance records.

Daily operator checks

Before operation, a competent operator should follow the manufacturer’s checklist and local site rules. General checks commonly cover visible leaks or damage, fluid levels, tyres or undercarriage, guards, access steps, attachments, controls, alarms, lights and safety devices. Record defects, isolate unsafe equipment and refer repair decisions to qualified personnel. This guidance does not replace the machine manual.

Information for service planning

Accurate machine and operating information helps identify the appropriate support, parts and expertise. Provide records where available and avoid operating equipment when a fault may affect safety or cause further damage.

  • Machine model and serial number
  • Operating hours, environment and duty cycle
  • Service history and recent work
  • Current location and site-access conditions
  • Symptoms, warning messages or fault codes

Parts and consumables

OEM parts may be supplied where available, together with quality compatible aftermarket options where suitability can be confirmed. Filters, fluids, seals, hydraulic components, wear parts, service kits, attachments and other consumables must be matched to the model, serial number, technical data and intended service. A general catalogue reference is not a compatibility guarantee.

Technical support

Depending on the machine, location and agreement, support may include remote troubleshooting, documentation, parts identification, coordination with a qualified service provider and on-site assistance where available. Remote guidance cannot replace an inspection when safe diagnosis requires physical access, specialist tools or authorised procedures.

Operator preparation

Equipment familiarisation can help operators understand controls, routine checks, reporting expectations and basic maintenance awareness. It does not replace employer training duties, machine-specific competence assessment or legally required certification. Any formal training provider and certification scope must be confirmed in writing.

Warranty

Warranty varies by manufacturer, age, condition and the applicable quotation. Used equipment may have limited or no manufacturer warranty. Coverage, duration, claim process, exclusions and responsible party must be confirmed in writing. Unauthorised modification, unsuitable operation or improper maintenance may affect coverage under the relevant terms.

Safety and urgent support

Stop and isolate equipment when continued operation may endanger people, property or the machine. Follow manufacturer emergency procedures, site rules and local emergency services where appropriate. Urgent support availability depends on location, time, personnel and the applicable service agreement. No unconditional response time applies unless it is expressly included in an executed service agreement.
